i'm srry, red, but i've just read the context to this situation and i've come to an opinion. does anyone care? probably not. if you see it necessary, you can ban the comments on this blog post as well.
honestly after looking at the context, i don't really see anything homophobic. so what? they censored the word "gay". i don't see that as homophobic, i just see it as someone censoring a word that could be considered offensive if taken outside of context. and piper didn't downright send death threats to anyone, they just tried defusing the situation with humour with what they find to be funny. i can understand someone not finding it funny, i didn't, but i can't understand how anyone would take it personally and / or as an attack. it seems like jack is just trying to use that as an argument against piper because he needs a reason as to why piper is in the wrong instead of him, even though from what i've seen, piper has apologised numerous times and has tried changing the subject and jack keeps coming back with insults and harassment which can genuinely be taken as cyberbullying.
honestly, i think that piper feels bad for what they did and there's no doubt in my mind that they won't do it again. i don't see how they should feel bad for what they did because homophobia is classed as the "dislike of people who are homosexuals". they didn't once state that they hated homosexuals or use any slurs, they just censored a word. i can see that someone can take this as offensive but after one or two apologies the situation should be done. mara shouldn't have to come to jack's defense despite the fact that he brought it all onto himself. he should've left the situation and been mature. case closed.
