"Twins" is an unreleased song by Melanie Martinez. It was intended to be on her debut album, Cry Baby, however, it was later scrapped. This song has not been performed live or officially released.
Snippets of the song started surfacing on April 19th, 2021 and the full version leaked on April 26th, 2021.
Theme
The song is about two friends that are close enough to feel like they are conjoined twins (in a figurative sense). Melanie is saying that they will always support each other despite the struggles that come along with being so close to someone. In the end, they will always love each other.
