This song was planned to be the second single off of Take Me to the Moon. Melanie intended to release a music video, shot by Vinnie DiCarlo, sometime in 2012. However, this was scrapped likely due to Melanie's acceptance onto The Voice, which caused her to pause her personal music projects and eventually led to her scrapping them.

This song is about someone that Melanie truly loves and couldn't live without. She's happier when she's with him, and she wishes she'd known him her whole life. The song was written and recorded around the time Melanie was dating Vinnie DiCarlo, so the song is likely about their relationship.
