"Stay for Love"^[1]^[2] is an unreleased song by Melanie Martinez. The song was written and recorded for her 2013 EP, however, the project was later scrapped.

Although no audio from this song has surfaced, snippets of the recording session leaked on July 14, 2024.

Background[]

The song was written and recorded during a studio session with Neon Hitch and John Feldmann in May 2013. This suggests it was intended for Melanie's 2013 EP, as it was recorded during the production of that project. However, it later got reworked into "A Thousand Words" and "Last Chapter".

This song, "A Thousand Words", and the 2013 EP version of "Rough Love" were recorded during the same studio session.
