- The PORTALS cover art was done without 3D composition or/and rendering at all. The word "PORTALS" is tactile and made out of hair, while the background was done using a set build and a video wall displaying 3D artwork.[1]
- The dress for the PORTALS alternative cover shoot was used in a concert for Lollapalooza.
- The main cover for PORTALS could be inspired by the "El Mundo" tarot card due to the striking resemblance between the pose, clothing and background. The card represents an ending to a life cycle or a pause in between the beginning of a new life cycle, which can be compared to the theme of the album.
