"Melanie Madness" is an event to celebrate the 1 anniversary of Melanie Martinez's third studio album PORTALS. It was created and hosted by Warner Music U's official social media manager.

On March 25, 2024, Warner Music U announced through their Instagram and Twitter that they will hold a week-long event to celebrate the PORTALS 1 anniversary, captioning: [1][2]

Activities[]
Day 1: Event announcement[]
The first day was the announcement of the event. There was no activity.
Day 2: Decorate Your Own Egg[]
The first activity was to design your own egg by using a provided template [3] Participants posted their custom designs on social media.
Day 3: Into The Portal Spotify playlist[]
For the second activity, Warner Music U made a Spotify playlist called "into the portal" for fans to stream Melanie's discography. [4] They also asked fans for their favorite Melanie song of all time.
Day 4: Throwback Thursday[]
The third activity was for fans to share their favorite past memory, photo or video of Melanie on their stories or under their comment section. [5]
Day 5: Connections[]
The fourth activity was a game called "connections". The game had 16 cards with Melanie's songs on them and fans had to create and group together a combination of 4 songs that had a common characteristic.[6] The game can be played here.
Day 6: Song Showdown[]
On the sixth day, the fifth activity was a PORTALS song showdown where fans had to vote for their favorite songs from PORTALS on Instagram and Twitter.[7]
