Masked Dancers are unknown human-like creatures that are seen next to Cry Baby's Grave. They are characters created by Melanie Martinez for "DEATH" music video. They're portrayed by Andrea Bess, Billy Mustapha, Kat Cheng, Jose Gabriel Baez, and Brooke Shepherd.

They serve as dancers for the music video.

Appearances

All of the dancers are shown in long dresses made up of different fabrics with ribbons of different colors mostly attached around them. Some can be seen wearing fabric bands or ribbons around their arms or wrists. All of them are styled in forest aesthetics. Their faces are obscured by their various fuzzy animal masks. Two of them have bunny masks, with one having whiskers and its ears raised and the other one has its ears flopped and are much more shorter as well as having a bigger nose. One of them wears a lamb mask, with dark red ribbons tied around its ears. One has a cat mask, with light orange fur, and The last one wears a bear mask; with its fur colored a light shade of blue.

Since most of their actual appearances are obscured by their masks and attire, it is difficult to point out what they exactly look like. Though one dancer can be seen having a pair of black braids with pink ribbons tied around them.

Life

All of them are seen at the start of "DEATH" music video looking into Cry Baby's grave, a moment later they place flowers next to the hole of the grave. Later they are seen doing ritual-like choreography. When The Creature is doing aerial hoop stunts, they are seen dancing next to her. During that they start burying the grave, but at the end when they are done, The Creature pops out of it and burrows away leaving the dancers alone as the screen fades to black.

• In the beginning of the music video when the dancers are looking into Cry Baby's Grave, an error could be spotted in which one Masked Dancer is wearing the same bunny mask as another dancer instead of their lamb mask.
