List of locations

Melanie Martinez has introduced and created many fictional locations for her visual media. This article lists all the locations in the Cry Baby Universe. Note that many locations were not given official names.

Cry Baby

Hospital

Carnival

	"Carousel" music video	An amusement park in Long Island	The carnival appears to be run down, with the lights flickering several times in the video. There are many different carnival games, with two employees running them. Cry Baby wanders around the carnival with Alphabet Boy, and they go on several rides together. There is a carousel in the center of the carnival, where Alphabet Boy traps Cry Baby.

Grocery store

	"Tag, You're It" music video	Elmer's Country Store in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey	The store sells a variety of 70's cereals, such as Jets, Crazy Cow and Sugar Crisp, and has a vintage cash register. This possibly hints at the time period that Cry Baby's story takes place. The store is painted yellow while the exterior of the store is painted red. There is a cashier working there. By the nearby surroundings, the store appears to be close to Cry Baby's house.

Big Bad Wolf's house

The kitchen has a blue toy chest, a small table, a vintage refrigerator, an oven, a wardrobe leading to the living room, and various paintings. The living room has blue cavern walls. There is a single chair, which is a sparkly blue. Next to the chair is a side table with a telephone, and in front, there is an old television that is used as a surveillance monitor.

Cry Baby's Grave

It's located in a dark eerie cave that seems to be partially flooded, with candles, tombs and crosses scattered all around it. It also appears that the cave is overgrown with different vines and mushrooms. In the middle of the cave, there is a small platform. There resides a big white mushroom, serving as her tombstone. Its stem has a carved illustration of the words "RIP CRYBABY" encased on a carved heart. In front of the mushroom is a deep pit, overgrown with white fungi and roots. This is where Cry Baby is buried. At the far back of the cave, there is a hole in the ceiling, from which light peeks inside.

The Void

	"VOID" music video	Constructed film set, Green screen/CGI	The void is a supernatural limbo for empaths like Cry Baby to reflect and judge upon their past lifetimes, thoughts, and actions. It's a beehive-like formation of pink fungi-shaped towers which appear visibly tall, as it's situated high up in the sky, with clouds surrounding its structure. They have various holes, exits, and windows scattered around the surface, with some being able to close and open randomly. On the inside, the place is separated into different labyrinth-like rooms and is inhabited by multiple animals, creatures, and other entities.

Fan Girl's Bedroom

	"TUNNEL VISION" music video	Constructed film set	This bedroom belongs to Fan Girl. The room is shown to be a pink-beige bedroom, with butterfly posters on the walls. It has a pink bed on the right, paired with a lamp on a yellow bedside table. The room is also decorated with a baby blue vanity with a pink lamp on top, and a tall yellow standing lamp near the bed. On the center, she has a computer setup with a pink two-cabinet table with a desk lamp, some stationery, a keyboard, a mouse, and a pink heart-shaped computer which eventually overheats and gets caught on fire.

Forest

It is a magical forest surrounded by a mountain range that contains various landmarks, structures, and buildings. The forest is mostly made out of conifer trees and pink large mushrooms. There are some ponds, tunnels, holes, and caves scattered around the place. It also seems like it is inhabited by various fairies, creatures, and humans alike. The landmarks in the forest seem to be both man-made and natural.

It has little to no inhabitants besides possibly a few insects and gastropods. Its location is connected next to the forest.

It is responsible for the production of every Fl!fone mobile device being sold to the public. The Factory is entirely colored in pastel pink; From the walls, floors, furniture, machinery, equipment, and more. From the exterior, it can be seen that the factory has multiple domes, chimneys, circular windows, and other circular rooms. The Factory seems to be highly dependent on child labor, as most of the workers there are children.

Fl!fone Store

	"SPIDER WEB" music video	blue screen, CGI	The Fl!fone store is a large, pastel pink, dome-shaped store specifically designed to sell models of the "Fl!fone". It has an alien-like design, with its exterior being accentuated with round lumps, paired with circular glass windows. Its storefront has an arch-design, with multiple windows plastered with posters and a white simplified logo of the "Fl!fone". The store is also surrounded with some round, pink potted plants, as well as some trash bins and benches. It's most likely located at a more urban area far from the forest.

Teen Girl's House

	"LEECHES" music video	Surreal Desert Oasis, Joshua Tree National Park, Califonia	This house is where both the Teen Girl and the leech lived in. It was originally just inhabited by Teen Girl until she decided to adopt the leech. It's a one-story house consisting of a pastel pink color scheme, filled with many circular arches, windows, and doorways. It's decorated with pink curtains, round pastel pink and white furniture, spherical lights, and many potted plants. Its kitchen has light blue wall tiles and a basic pink counter top. The house was then later crashed and destroyed by the leech and its friends, who then also proceeded to kill the Teen Girl herself.
