Background
Melanie covered this song during her set at Teen Acoustic Cafe on August 7th, 2009. During her set, she also covered Beauty in The Breakdown and sang her original song Smoke. She also uploaded the song to her YouTube channel on June 13th, 2009, but it was later taken down.
Theme
This song is about the different stages of life. When you are born, you are an innocent child making your parents proud. As you grow older, you begin to fall into society's ways and you lose your innocence. The bad things around you begin to haunt you.
