This song is about a woman who is a gold digger, which is a person who engages in romantic relationships for money rather than love. The narrator (possibly one of his friends) is trying to warn a man about how this woman is only dating him for his money.
It lists reasons as to how she is a gold digger and gives proof that she doesn't actually love him. However, he thinks that the narrator is just joking and ignores it until he discovers that it was right all along. In the end, he is left heartbroken and without any money.
