Trivia[]

  • Melanie stated in a interview with VICE that she wrote "Alphabet Boy" about an ex-boyfriend of hers in real life who studied music and tried to "teach" her how to write songs "correctly".[1] Jared is the only known boyfriend of Melanie's that she had dated at that time to have been involved in music, which suggests that the song was written about him.
  • In a 2019 Instagram story, Jared showed support to Melanie as a result of her leaked nude photos resurfacing.[citation needed]
