"Coloring Book" is an unreleased song by Melanie Martinez. It was intended to be featured on her debut album Cry Baby, however, it was later scrapped. This song has not been performed live or officially released to fans.

Snippets began to surface on April 30^th, 2021 and the full song was leaked on May 10^th, 2021.

Background and Theme

Melanie confirmed during a Tumblr Q&A from July 27^th, 2015 that she considered Coloring Book to be the title track of her debut album before it was released as Cry Baby.^[2]

This song describes songs already intented for Cry Baby. It was most likely intented to be the first or last track of the album in the concept of it.
