Bunnies, also known as Bunny Doctors, are a species of characters created by Melanie Martinez. They appear throughout some of Melanie's music videos. They possess the head of a rabbit and a human body.

Appearances

During the Cry Baby era, they can be seen wearing doctors' attire. A Bunny Doctor appears in "Cry Baby" to deliver Mom's baby at the start of the music video. They also appear in "Mrs. Potato Head" to perform plastic surgery on Mrs. Potato Head. Finally, one of them appears in "Mad Hatter" to prescribe pills to Cry Baby during her dream.

Several Bunny Doctors also appear in K-12, as a part of the staff crew for K-12 Sleepaway School. They are seen wearing large grey coats. During the film, they heal The Principal via a syringe after the events took place during The Principal. They also help the nurses to restrain Cry Baby and Angelita in "Nurse's Office" and tries to stop students from killing the Principal during "Drama Club". Their final K-12 appearance was prior to "Detention", where they can be seen acting as bodyguards to Leo, who was investigating the cafeteria food fight and patrolling the detention room.

In "The Bakery", four bunnies can be seen baking cookies and working at a bakery. One of them delivers a cookie to Abuelita.

Trivia

• It's possible the Bunny Doctors are based on an incident revolving around Melanie's late pet bunny, Whinnie, who was found decapitated after leaving it at a friend's house.
• Sometimes on the Cry Baby Tour, during "Mrs. Potato Head", a bunny doctor would walk onstage.
• Melanie played all the bunnies in "The Bakery".
• In the K-12 early concept photo shoot, a Bunny Doctor is shown with the same mask as the one he wears in the Cry Baby music videos. In the final film, the bunnies wear larger masks with a different color.
