Adam Levine is an American singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California. He is the vocalist of the pop-rock band Maroon 5. He was Melanie Martinez's coach on season three of The Voice.
Career[]
In 1994, Adam started out in a garage band named Kara's Flowers. They were discovered by a producer in 1997 while performing at a beach party in Malibu and soon after recorded an album, which did not bring much success. The band later appeared on the TV show Beverly Hills, 90210. Kara's Flowers was dropped from Reprise Records after producer Rob Cavallo left the company. The band broke up due to the disappointment of the results of their only album.
Adam and the rest of the members of Kara's Flowers later on met up again to form a new band. This new band was rejected by many labels before finally being accepted by A&M/Octone Records. The members added a fifth member to their band and were renamed Maroon 5. In the following years, the band became very successful, even being one of the world's best-selling music artists.
