Honestly, this is a very complicated thing. I also had doubt with this. Many fans say she doesn't mind fans listening to unreleased songs from Cry Baby, K-12 and After School EP, but we never SAW her actually say that. She said in an Instagram story that she doesn't appreciate her songs being leaked so idk

She said on an ig story that she doesnt want us to listen to unreleased songs, but i dont rlly believe bc it could also be atlantic doing it as they most likely have access to her social media, so im just not listening to portals leaks

At the end of the day its just music and shes not gonna come to your house and murder you for it - as long as you dont support the leaking of songs, i think its fine to listen to them, because these two are different things

Melanie has said she does not want anyone listening to or leaking her unreleased music, but at the end of the day, that isn't going to stop anyone from doing any of those things. You can choose if you want to respect Melanie's wishes or to listen to the songs.

I remember I saw a saw a vid of her at her Portal's concert saying, "Are y'all listening to my unreleased songs?!" and then saying, "Nah, its okay." But I do remember she said in a Insta post that she doesn't like people leaking them, but I'm unsure whether she posted that before or after that one concert. Personally, I don't support leaking songs, but its fine to listen to them, probably don't listen to the more recent unreleased ones from Portals cuz she could possibly release them later. So be safe a just listen to unreleased songs from older albums cuz she probably won't release them, but you can't ever be to sure.
