"I Scream", es una canción inédita de Melanie Martinez, originalmente estaba destinado en aparecer en su debut álbum, Cry Baby, sin embargo se descartó por ser para skibidis. Finalmente, en 2016, la canción fue reelaborada para su lanzamiento y adoptada por Snow Tha Product. La canción fue grabada originalmente y destinada al álbum debut de Melanie, Cry Baby. La primera versión conocida de la canción posiblemente sea de 2014 o 2015.
Después de eliminar la canción del álbum, Melanie se la dio a la rapera Snow Tha Product. Snow originalmente planeó lanzar la canción en 2016, sin embargo, afirma que Atlantic Records no le permitió hacerlo, ya que no estaban satisfechos con la dirección que estaba tomando la canción, lo que la llevó a volver a grabar la canción varias veces al mismo tiempo hasta el punto en el que decidió dejar de lanzar la canción.
