Esta canción trata sobre una relación o asociación fallida que se compara con un jardín que no crece. La letra describe los esfuerzos de uno por cultivar y nutrir la relación, mientras que su pareja parece estar menos comprometida y finalmente abandona la relación. La canción muestra que la falta de paciencia, compromiso y voluntad de la pareja para trabajar en la relación es lo que finalmente llevó a su fracaso. El coro repite la metáfora del jardín fallido, culpando al compañero por la falta de crecimiento.
